First Story: Star Talent Palmer Ready for Crucial London Derby with Arsenal

The Blues manager Enzo Maresca announced on Friday that Cole Palmer is ready to play for the squad's important top-flight encounter against London opponents Arsenal.

The 23-year-old English international was unavailable due to a fractured toe sustained after an unfortunate incident.

“He is fit to begin and feature,” Maresca said. “The whole team is delighted.”

This season, Palmer has made only four appearances across all competitions, scoring twice.

Since his arrival from City in the previous year, he has recorded 45 scores and 29 helpers in 101 matches for Chelsea.

“He is our best player, we are delighted he is back, we need to provide him with time to be fully fit,” Maresca added. “He has been brilliant historically and no doubt he is going to do great things for this club in the future.”

Everton were unsuccessful in their challenge against Idrissa Gueye's red card for a fight with fellow player Michael Keane during the team's 1-0 victory at Manchester United.

The veteran Senegalese midfielder was sent off just early on into the match after striking Keane during a dispute over a poor pass.

Gueye immediately apologized, and the pair were seen reconciled afterwards in a mock social media post.

However, the challenge against the dismissal was turned down, and Gueye must serve a three-game ban, making Everton shorthanded for their upcoming fixture against Newcastle United.

“We have appealed it and our appeal was turned down,” manager David Moyes revealed. “We received no rationale for the denial but we did appeal it.”

When asked about more issues from the incident, Moyes continued: “It was over immediately, it was done, that was it, we progressed rapidly and it was all sorted within the team environment.”

Newcastle United's recent acquisition Yoane Wissa has trained with his new teammates for the first time since sustaining a knee problem soon after his arrival from his former club in September.

West Ham United head coach Nuno Espírito Santo has stated that the reigning champions' recent poor form “should not be a focus” as his team prepares to take on the struggling Premier League title holders.

West Ham will welcome back Lucas Paquetá after his suspension, while Crysencio Summerville and Dinos Mavropanos are progressing in their return from injury.

Fifth Story: Gibbs-White Could Feature for Forest against The Seagulls

Nottingham Forest's boss Sean Dyche is hopeful that Morgan Gibbs-White will be fit for the side's at home fixture against Brighton on Sunday.

The English player was absent for the midweek Europa League match against the Swedish side due to a back issue.

“We hope it is improving,” Dyche commented as he prepared to face Fabian Hürzeler's team, who have taken seven points from their past three matches.

“It’s like a bad back, but a morning sort of injury, one where you just sleep funny or twist funny. So we’re not expecting, at this point anyway, that it’s too serious and it’s easing already. So we’re confident that it’ll be right for the weekend.”

Murillo was feeling his hamstring muscle after the comfortable Europa League win, but Dyche indicated the player “should be fine”.

However, the full-back (thigh injury), Douglas Luiz (thigh), Dilane Bakwa (hamstring), the striker (knee), and Oleksandr Zinchenko (hip) are expected to be unavailable.
